MINISTRY MESSAGE
O’ Give thanks unto the Lord for He is good! Praise the Lord Park Avenue… God is so awesome and we ought to bless His name. The season of Thanksgiving is upon us. Even though we should give thanks every day; it is truly a blessing to be in this season once again. God has been truly amazing to all of us and for this we are thankful. As you are preparing a meal for your families, please remember those that may be less fortunate than we are. We can offer a meal, lend a hand or an ear, and place a glimmer of hope in the hearts of others regardless of what we may be going through. Take a look at the news and the goings on in our country and around the world, just to be here at this very moment is a blessing. God continues to pour into us, and we must not let the obstacles of this world block our view of the cross. The Bible tells in 2 Corinthians 4:15
“All of this is for your benefit. And as God’s grace reaches more and more people, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory”. (NLT)
Park Avenue we are better than blessed because of God’s grace and mercy. As we celebrate this season of Thanksgiving, let us remember that it is the giving that blesses us; it is the giving that allows us another opportunity to get it right and it is the giving that gives us peace that surpasses all understanding. So let us enjoy our family and friends both near and far, but let us remember to give thanks for giving.
